DETAILS

This soft textured balm is all you need for an effective, deep cleanse, even stubborn mascara doesn’t stand a chance! If you’re a fan of the double cleanse method, then this cleanser can be used as your first and/or second cleanse.

Recommended for all skin types, especially sensitive skin as it's fragrance/essential oil free. We always recommend patch testing before use.

NOTE: due to the natural nature of the oils we use, the colour and smell of the product may vary from batch to batch.

Massage a scoop of balm into dry skin, allowing the cleanser to break down makeup and dissolve excess oil and impurities from the skin. Add a splash of warm water (the oil turns into an easily rinseable milk) and massage again to begin emulsifying the cleanser. Next, fully rinse off using warm water, or our warm damp cloth. Can be used AM and PM as part of your regular daily cleanse. For an intensive hydrating mask, leave the balm on your skin for 10-15 minutes before rinsing off.

Do not place wet fingers into the cleansing balm.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

KEY INGREDIENTS

Safflower Oil – hydrates dry skin, whilst soothing any irritation and inflammation. High in linoleic acid, and omega-6 fatty acid, which is found naturally on the skin, as many acne sufferers have a deficiency of linoleic acid, safflower oil can help to reverse this.

Glycerin – A humectant that draws moisture from the air around us and helps to keep the moisture in the skin. Its primary function is to hydrate the skin whilst also enhancing the penetration ability of other ingredients like oils or emollients into the skin’s uppermost layers.

Squalane – Derived from olive oil, it has an identical structure to the sebum naturally found in the skin, and it softens the skin and improves its elasticity.

Bisabolol – with its anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties to soothe and heal the skin, and calm inflammation. Bisabolol can be considered a pro collagen support as it works to stimulate collagen production.

I am loving this cleanser! I always gravitate towards this kind of texture of cleanser because my skin can get dry and I HATE that squeaky feeling that some water based cleansers leave so it’s worth keeping in mind that I’m probably already the intended audience. Nevertheless this is my new favourite cleanser by a long way, I love how much thicker and almost sticky it feels in comparison to other cleansers when it goes onto your face - definitely feels like it’s doing good things! I use a skincare spoon for this produce and would recommend other people do the same, before when I just used my fingers I always seemed to use far too much. Now I’m using the little spatula though I can see how a little really goes a long way with this product, I’ve been using this pot for 3 weeks already and it looks like I’ve barely touched it - mega impressed. I would definitely recommend :)

the glass jar is not cheap and heavy. Cleansing balm has a good texture. very good. But the glass jar is a bit heavy. The ingrediënts are very good for every skin. But the glass jar is not airtight, so the good ingredients are lost. The tube or airless bottle might be better. :-)

New HG I absolutely love this cleansing balm. I've been trying to find a replacement for my current HG for personal reasons, and this is it! I love how thick and luxurious it feels on the skin, and it's very very light citrus scent. It really feels like it's breaking down the spf and gunk on my face from the day. It definitely doesn't rinse clean, so you'll need a second cleanse, but I don't mind it because my skin has been loving it! My skin typically gets dried and stripped from double cleansing but not with this. Overall winner in my book. And it's an Desi owned indie brand?? I LOVE to see the representation, forever a repurchase!

The Bundle Was pleasantly surprise with the balm..the quantity in the jar is going to last forever...quite effective too especially for the lips as most of the time they are dry... I had forgotten how good the cleanser was from my previous use...so yes definitly its a great product....and the jar that came in the bundle was a large size so again this will last for at least couple of months....both products plus the face cloth are worth every penny...highly recommend these products as they are not only excellent for the skin but extremly good value too....

One of the best cleansers EVER! I honestly swear by this cleanser. I have been using it for almost a year now when it was formally known as minimalist skincare. I use this twice daily, once in the morning and once in the evening. It leaves my skin instantly feeling glowy and fresh. The formula is so smoothe and doesn’t irritate my skin like other cleansers have in the past. I mainly use this to remove my make up, and when I apply it, it literally melts the make up off without the need to scrub really hard. I’m on my 7th tub of this now and that’s says it all.

Finally found a brilliant one I bought this after hearing it from a skincare influencer in IG and was hesitant to buy it as it is a bit out of my budget. I spoke to somebody on IG and they assured me this is specifically for dry skin and that I will see a change provided I'm using the right moisturisers etc. Whoever I spoke to was very helpful. I took the plunge and bought it right after the cold snap we had. After a few uses I started seeing a noticeable difference in my skin and the texture. I think I have found my holy grail for my skincare. It's so creamy and wonderful to apply on the skin. I now take the time to properly cleanse my face for a good 5 minutes by massaging my face because this product spreads so well and gives me the so much hydration. I hope this cleanser will work as good in the freezing cold months of winter as that's when my skin really needs all the hydration it can possible get. Anyways I would highly recommend this anybody who suffers from very dry skin. Defo worth the money and I will be buying this again and again.

Eczema Prone Skin I suffer from eczema on my face so finding a cleanser that removes make up as well as hydrates is key for me. Acne prone skin I’ve been using this product for a number of months now to take off makeup as well a daily cleanser and it leaves my skin feeling fresh and supple. I usually stray from oil based skincare as it tends to break me out or make my acne flare up however this product immediately hydrates and smooths my skin. I especially love the thick texture of the cleanser and how easily it washes off. Using this cleansers stops my skin from peeling and prevents me having to reapply moisturiser multiple times a day due to using a retinoid. It also means makeup removal is gentle and non-abrasive on my sensitive skin.

So smooth The range of skincare products on the market makes it complicated to choose what’s best for me. Minimalist Skincare have cut the difficulties out with their all purpose cleansing balm. Amazing I Just used your amazing cleansing balm. I cant believe how clean my face is. I don't wear a lot of makeup and hate taking it off...but taking off with a normal cleanser and wipes still then needs soap after to get it all off.
